A site for my handmade cards, accompanied by my photos and written meanderings which are occasionally witty, often tongue-in-cheek, and rarely profound. Beginning in June 2013, you'll also see lots of NBUS, which is an acronym I coined for Never-Before-Used-Schtuff. WOYWW 145

Another Wednesday rolls in with the clouds and the rain.  The western California contingent of the desk-droppers (akin to eaves-droppers) chiming in far down on the list at Ms. Julia's Stamping Ground WOYWW (What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday).  How do you peek in via the list when it gets so long?  Sometimes I start at the end and work to the front, sometimes vice versa, and sometimes I start right in the middle.  Nice to have choices being so late to it.  They are all fun to pop into, no matter where you start!

I'm finishing up a slew of notecards that I want to send to my friend.  I first mentioned a few of them here the other day.  Some days, several hours, even the whole day, seems to slip away from me.  Doing the cards this way - all ready to go except for a timely personal note - will ensure that they get sent out.  Sometimes it pays to be compulsively organized!

I did also take some time last night to watercolor one of my all-time favorite stamps.  Who doesn't love this image?  I've used it for cards quite often.  It's from Stamps Happen, Inc. #80274 Pecking Order (love the name, too!).  Sadly, I'm not sure they are in business any longer.

Please enjoy!

Awesome note cards! Love those little birdies, so cute. Had to follow you too. Yep, your method is the same as me, some time work the top or bottom or middle!

Stop by for my give away when you have a chance.

Wow, the notecards are really coming along...they look great. That birdie stamp is a hoot...The water color painting on it is so lovely.
Sorry i am so late in getting round. I am still struggling with fatigue.

Started the thyroid medication last night, so hopefully I will feel more energized soon. They will run my numbers again in a month and readjust the dosage if needed.

I just want to start creating again!
