A site for my handmade cards, accompanied by my photos and written meanderings which are occasionally witty, often tongue-in-cheek, and rarely profound. Beginning in June 2013, you'll also see lots of NBUS, which is an acronym I coined for Never-Before-Used-Schtuff. Note: my Privacy Policy can be found at a tab below and you can find my NBUS Challenge online. I hope you'll join in the fun there! Thanks for coming by! Have a beverage and enjoy!

Penny Black Saturday Challenge Week 187

This is my first time entering the Penny Black Saturday Challenge.  "As always it is up to you what you create...the only RULE being that you use at least ONE PENNY BLACK IMAGE...LARGE SENTIMENT OR STICKEROO AS A MAIN FOCUS."  After posting this originally, I discovered that you were supposed to CASE one of the design team's cards.  The team kindly let me play and determined my CASE was of Debby's so-cute card.  Thank you, ladies!

I do love Penny Black Stickeroos and have made lots of cards with them in the past.  In fact, I was afraid some of my favorites might be discontinued, so I went overboard buying them up.  I must have about a hundred left for making cards - enough for my lifetime and more!  These are new cards, which I changed up only in terms of the sentiments.

Enjoy!   Leave a comment if you have a second. I appreciate that you stopped by to look!

Paper:  Various, mostly SU, white is Papertrey Ink
Stamps:  Hero Arts, SU
Penny Black Stickeroos:  "In Boom 10-208"
Ribbon:  SU
Accessories:  Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder, pink brads

Hello, hello, hello! Great minds think alike! Not only do we follow the same blogs, but we both love PB Stickeroo's and we've both used them on our cards for the same challenge, lol! This is lovely, clean and fresh. Can't wait for the flowers to bloom outside!

Hugs
Brenda

So pretty! And I'm amazed at how the feeling of the card changes based on the sentiment - the first one is more fun and casual (like a cold or sore throat or something) and the second one is more serious. Amazing how the same card can be so different by changing just one element! Thanks for the 'lesson!'
