Hello Stamplings!
Surprise! I know time is whooshing by, but don't worry, it's not Monday already! It's a fabulous Friday, heading into the weekend!
I'm delighted to pop in today as Guest Designer for the fun Cut It Up Challenge! The theme is Christmas in July!
Onefer
I used a NBUS "Drop Nativity" die which I received from a friend to create a white-on-white QACAS design using linen paper. The double die-cut sediment is from PTI's "Wonderful Words Christmas." I just love the simplicity.
Twofer
I went with mirror gold for my Twofer and I left out the center piece of the nativity die so you can see how it looks both ways. Again, super quick and CAS.
(Hammy and Stanley are volunteering this week at the Rec Center Adopt-A-Pet, "Facts About Fur" summer program, showing children the ups and downs of owning hamsters. I'm so proud!🐹🐹)
~~~
I hope you'll pop over to Cut It Up and join in the challenge! You will find all the rules and the wonderful DT inspiration on the website. As I said recently, Christmas will be here before you know it! And working on a wintry card always makes me feel cooler, especially now when it's our turn to be horrid hot!
~~~
Enjoy your weekend! No, seriously, enjoy! LITS!*
See you Monday, maybe with your CIU creations because it's D = Die Cuts week! As always, thank you for coming by to visit the Playhouse!

Love them both, but the white on white is my fave! Love the simpliity and that nativity die is gorgeous! Have a great weekend!
Such a unique die and beautiful cards created from it! Stay cool my friend!
Congrats on guesting, Darnell! You've created two lovely CAS cards. I'm partial to the second one with all of that shimmery gold!
I love the simplicity and peacefulness of the white on white version and the gold version told me that this would be an excellent die to create a window to back with one of the many backgrounds that seem to accumulate when I am playing with ink. I went straight over to Simon Says Stamp and ordered it. Thank you for sharing and for introducing me to a beautiful die that I will get plenty use use from.
Such lovely cards Darnell! The first is so striking because it’s subtle, but the gold is fabulous too! They will be much loved this Christmas!
I absolutely love this die cut. The card is just so elegant. Thank you for joining use on Cut it Up Challenges as our guest designer.
Congrats on your guest design spot! Both cards are stunning, I like when a stamp is used in different ways!
Congratulations on the Guest Designer spot. Love these two elegant Christmas cards, equally beautiful but in different ways.
Well done as the guest designer, Darnell. Both are beautiful and it's hard to pick a favorite. The white card is lovely and the gold adds an elegant touch. I'm sure Hammy and Stanley are having a great time and much appreciated there.
What stunning cards. Your die cut is gorgeous both ways! So glad you could join us a guest designer at The Cut it Up Challenge!
