More Schparkle!

Hello Stamplings!

Happy first day of fall - or autumn, if that's your love language for the time of year when Mother Nature slips quietly into her dressing room as the moon rises each night and then surprises us each morning with leaves of warm gold, auburn, amber, and maroon ~ and every nuanced shade in between. 🍂💛

Onefer
I've had this sweet NBUS bag die for as long as it takes to grow a human baby. I'm so tickled to have finally used it ... isn't it the cutest? It's called "Flat Paper Bag Die" and it's from Waffle Flower. The flowers are from Memory Box, called "Glorious Gerber Daisies," and I cut them from schparkly gold glitter paper. I used a fuchsia glitter paper to cut a second flower and interchanged the flower centers. I used a fuchsia ink color to stamp the wee sediment on the gift tag from My Creative Time. (I used a piece of pp for the background.) Done.

Then I noticed Hammy was looking at the monitor with his head cocked to the side in that, "are-you-sure-you're-done" stance. At which point I lifted both my shoulders up to my ears in the international symbol for "huh?"

I can't tell you the exact gesture Hammy returned my way, but he knows who butters his bread, so heaving a long-suffering sigh, he scampered over to the vellum folder. Aha! Of course! Tissue paper for the finish!

Challenges
Twofers

I went on a 3D shopping spree at Simon Says Stamp a few months ago and today I'm breaking out the "Fall Foliage" embossing folder. It is so fabulously detailed and I wanted it to stand out, so I simply added a die-cut leaf from Impression Obsession and finished with twine or ribbon. I made several using different leaf shapes, papers, and colors. I opted not to use sediments so as not to crowd the visual or change the design and plus, without a sediment, I can use them for many occasions, including Thanksgiving.

Three fab cards Darnell...that bag is so cute on the first one and Hammys addition of the vellum is such a clever idea too. The embossing folder you have used is stunning and makes for super autumn cards, and Thanksgiving too. Love your colours you have chosen and the metallic one really shines. Nearly October and soon the whirlwind of end of year celebrations??..how time flies whether or not we are having fun. xx

Your fall cards are just lovely, Darnell! I really like the leafy embossed ones. I do like the vellum tissue you added to the daisy card, too. You and Hammy sure make a good team. Nellie looks so sweet after her grooming. When we get our dog groomed, he immediately wants to go to the backyard and roll around in the grass. LOL Maybe he doesn't like that scented shampoo all that much. LOL Have a lovely weekend, my friend!

Love all three of them! Hammie was right; the tissuepaper finishes it of beautifully! I like the textured effect of the folders, but find my eye drawn to the golden one most; there it is so bold and beautiful! Hugs, Gerrina

Yes, it is now officially Autumn and the summer is over and love that gold 3D embossing with the leaves, and the added die cut one over the top is so pretty Darnell, and I love the twine attachment and a great idea to have a copper leaf against the gold, and the bright yellow with the wonderful ribbon and ore twine and the variagation on the leaf looks gorgeous. The first is gorgeous too with the softer glittery gold flowers with pretty pink centres to match the pink background, and sitting in such a delightful little bag and a great finishing touch with the tissue spilling out the top. With regard to Bloglovin' mine is exactly the same telling me the 'page is not found' and I only have one blog which I am supposed be notified about but that's not happening either..hopefully it will get fixed but it has been a long time now since I first noticed it. x

So much to love here. That bag is so cute and versatile. I see it on birthday, Valentine and Christmas cards as well as the cute way you introduced it. Great flowers with such shine. That embossing folder is awesome in the gold and so fallish in the bright yellow. Also love that ribbon. Then that sweet picture of Nellie, she is adorable. And then, technology. I was just there, so I feel your frustration.

That bag is such fun, and your EF cards are stunners. Texture is such an eye catcher on cards.

I have such mixed feelings about autumn--too short-lived for me with winter being far too long and dark! Your pretty fall cards, however, are delightful! I LOVE that embossing folder. If I'd seen it on my last shopping spree at Simon Says, it would probably be in my collection as well! Nellie is just adorable!

The leaf embossing folder is gorgeous, Darnell, especially in gold foil. I'm beginning to leave off sentiments on some of my cards too.

That little bag is the cutest and Hammy was right about the vellum. It's the perfect touch to hold your sparkly daisies in the bag. Thanks for sharing that card with us at The Flower Challenge.

Isn't Hammy a genius when it comes to those final details... ;)
Loving the floral card, that is stunning
That 3D leaf folder is amazing, and you have done so well to simply enhance it - even if Hammy wants to snazzle things up with some schparkle and you have not let him. The embossed gold card is so rich and lavish looking - love it

Happy fall y'all, and what a gorgeous array of autumn cards! Just loving that bag of flowers with the vellum papers - that's a one-of-a-kind beauty! Nellie looks so sweet and innocent in her little bed with her freshly groomed little body! So sweet, and speaking of sweet, thanks so much for the sweet little birthday card too! I love it :)

Ahhhh for the cards and awwww for Nellie! Honestly, I can be in the middle of ranting about something on the news and then Wally or LuLu will come to me and the rant just melts away. It's amazing. That little shopping bag is the cutest thing ever! There are so many things you could put in it, including sparkly flowers. I'm enjoying all the glorious fall cards and these two are splendiferous. I've admired this folder because the way the leaves are overlapped it appears even more 3D. Hooray for using some of your ribbon, too. I really love the leaf on the yellow card.

All of these are awesome Darnell! I'm glad you added the tissue paper to your bag. Don't you just love when Mother Nature takes that oppressive heat with her into that dressing room? I can handle the 90's a whole lot better than the 110+ stuff she gave us this year. Love those fall cards as well. Thank you for the inspiration today.
