CASual Fridays CFC72 ~ Tootle Your Own Horn! or What's In a Name?

Me again.  A quick P.S.

I love CASual Fridays.  This week the challenge is to make a card replicating your blog banner.  Hmmm.  Didn't see that one coming.  Woulda put a cockatoo, or shoefly, or a martini on there, had I known.
Why is my banner my banner?  My initials are "djk."  I made up the name "djkreations" over ten years ago and had a rubber stamp made with that name which I stamped on the backs of my cards.  Fast forward to about a year ago and I set up my blog.  It seemed only natural to put "djkreations" on my banner and dotcom it while I was at it.  That's when I found out there is a disk jockey in Kansas City, MO who already has that name.  So that's how "djkardkreations" came to be.  I know, genius, huh?
But not so genius when you have to make an identifying card.  I didn't have a new rubber stamp made with the new name because I now make up clear labels that have the copyright symbol and "djkardkreations.com," which I put on the backs of my cards.
I thought about it for several days.  Then a few minutes ago, as time was running out on this challenge, I suddenly remembered that I still had that old rubber stamp around here somewhere and I quickly made my as-close-as-it-gets banner card.
Here is my Horn Tootle card.  Just don't tell the disk jockey!

Hop into this challenge if you haven't already.  It is being sponsored by the fantastic A Muse Studio!

Thanks for the second stop today!  Mwah!

Nice to see you again Darnell. That would be a tough challenge for me with all my red and white squiggles and not much else, but yours is brilliant, you are so inventive - love it! Crafty hugs, Anne x

Love your grassy background. I'm sure the dj won't mind. I'm not even attempting to toot my banner, as there's nothing to toot!
