WOYWW 171

Hello Friends!

By now you know Wednesdays are pretty much reserved for What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday.  It's a mamoosive blog hop around the world where we hop from desk top to desk top, snooping, and spying, and leaving love notes behind.

Here's my desk with the mess from the card I made and posted yesterday.

Nothing too exciting this week unless you're sharp-eyed enough to notice I forgot to move my large gin out of camera range.  Just kidding!  It's vodka.

That's it for me today.  I shocked your biscuit with my brevity, didn't I?  Brevity is the ability to hold your breath while laughing.  Well it sounds like that's what it should mean, even though that's not humanly possible.  Whales can't do it either.

If that didn't make you chuckle, I'll leave you with this:

Enjoy your WOYWW!   If you let me know you came by, I'll return the visit!  I'll also visit others, too, for as long as sitting here with my poorly back will allow.  Boo.  Hoo.

A very special hello to all of you who are new this week to Julia's fab and addicting WOYWW!  As always, thank you for stopping by!

Hi Darnell,
glad to see I'm not the only one who likes a beverage of the alcoholic kind while crafting. Hope your back stops giving you jip soon and hope normal service will be resumed as soon as possible. What a tidy desk my dear !!!!

Hi Darnell, keep taking the Vodka and if that doesn't help with the pain you could always get Mister to rub your back with more Vodka - like rubbing alcohol.......love the cartoon, so very cute and it made me giggle, as do most of your posts! Happy WOYWW, Anne x #82

I looked very hard & can't see the bottle of 'booze' anywhere ! Maybe it's Vodka in that BIG glass :) Your desk looks similar to mine, I guess I should take a photo one of these Wednesdays. Thanks for your support of my one layer creation. It was great fun. Enjoy your day ! Shirleyxx

3 big laughs out of this one Darnell - you should charge us all for the laughter therapy you provide! I'm so glad you're (so far) happy to do it for free!

So was it neat or with Tonic?

I've nominated you for a Leibster award, it'll be on my next post.

Not even Grandma could save that mess (in the cartoon, not your desk, of course)!

At least you are still finding humor during the back pain. That I know is something that is hard to do. I hope you get to feeling better soon! And thanks for the smile. Dani#16

I'm sorry your back is hurting!
That is one of the worst kinds of pain.
And ha! That cartoon makes me think of my daughter. She calls her grandmother up quite a bit ;) :)

If you back gets worse Dr. Judy recommends more vodka. Vodka is quite the cure-all. It seems to help most things except for vertigo. Love the bright cheery colors on your card. I admit I learned something today. Whales can laugh! I'm glad to hear it.

That's funny, you won't find vodka at my workspace, but maybe a Bailey's over ice, ahhh, cocktail hour! Thanks for stopping by my blog. Barb

What is it about us crafters that we are all alcoholics? Wine, vodka, and my tipple...Baileys (or Southern Comfort)?
Very funny joke too!
Thanks for popping by

Bummer about the back dear! Hope its feeling better now. :) And you always get a good laugh out of me, right off the bat usually! I did spy the card you made and it looks very cheerful, like it would indeed put a big smile on the face of whoever received it. Love the cartoon! That is my son all the way! lol Except its his bedroom and not the living room that looks that way! :)
Thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving me a bit of wisdom...life is too short, isn't it? And time flies more quickly with every passing day...
Um, wow, its like it got all serious up in here...
So, what did the bartender say to the horse when it walked into the bar?
"Why the long face?"
badumpump!
lol :)
