CFC68 ~ Top of the Class!

Good Morning!
I hope everyone on this side of the pond enjoyed their long Labor Day weekend.  It was bloody a bit hot here, but we had a great one!
I have a card today for the CASual Fridays CFC68 challenge "Top of the Class," where the assignment is to create a clean and simple back-to-school project.

The awesome sponsor is brand new:
One of my other favorite challenges had a school-related theme a while back and I explained then that I had given away all my school-related stamps to a friend who has a crafty daughter with school-related children.  I do, however, have terrific and amusing paper from either DCVW (DCWV?) or K&Company, I don't know which.  I used a section of a sheet of that to make my card:
After I attached the paper, I direct-to-stamp-colored my little Cat R. Pillar using Marvy markers.  I fussy-cut him out and Gelly Rolled him in sparkles, put him up on pop dots, and Walla!!  Fun!  I hope you get a chance to play in the challenge!
~~~
I had lunch and did a side walk along the downtown area of a nearby burg with my friend recently.  I came across this little guy who wanted to come and hang around the door of the Playhouse:
I'm sorry he is dappled.  This time of year, that area is always dappled.  You might be able to see, among the dapples, that there is another hook on the opposite side of that corner and if you look closely, you can see the bobbing head of a springy froggie windchime.
Here's a better picture of the new guy.  Mister stayed home a little while this morning to wait for traffic to ablate, so I had him hold Mr. Buddah Frog in the sun for a better picture:
Him's such a cute windchime!  But that's it for froggies for me!  I promised the twins I would not turn my yard into Frogarado!
Enjoy your day!  As always, thank you for stopping by to visit.   Special thanks to you if you take the time to join as a follower or leave a comment!
Thank you, too, for all your applause for my CASology Honorable Mention. Mmm-waugh!!
Paper:  PTI vintage cream;
  DCWV designer paper
Ink:  Marvy and Sakura pens
Hi Dippy - first of all congrats on the honourable mention........absolutely well deserved. Love your cat-r-pillar - top marks for the fussy cutting. Adore your buddha kermit........looks like he's had too much to eat so hope he doesn't jiggle up and down too much else you won't know what will happen! How good of mister to hold him up for the photo...
Hugs.
Loved your school card. I'm in the same situation, no need for school themed stuff. Outlawz had a challenge, so I found some paper out shopping. Yours looked MUCH bettah! My DH would snitch your frogs. Him is a frog lover too. Basement bath is frog motif..BUT only the cute ones. Not the real-life looking things. TFS your froggies AND your nifty card. Hugs
Perfect little caterpillar for your background. That's some mighty tiny fussy cutting! That frog would be too hard to resist, he would have to come home with me too.
This is a lovely card, Darnell! I like how you've rounded the corners to match the panel, and coloured the caterpillar to match the book covers. Love the frogs, much nicer than the real thing.
