Since I lean towards clean and simple card-making, I enjoy OLW
challenges. Susan's challenge post says: "This week's One-Layer Wednesday (a.k.a. OLW) Challenge is to use two colors, two images, and masking. Sentiments are optional but must be in one of the two colors, just to make the whole thing more
, um, challenging."
Oy, yoy, yoy!
Challenging is putting it mildly! I made this card FIVE (5), five-holy-Toledo-I-can-do-this-I-will-do-this-five-frappe-times before I got it right. Phew. I need a
moment. Thanks, I'm good. Susan, why I oughta ... I mean, my goodness, I only had to mask a square corner of the one stamp and
I used my Stamp-a-ma-jigger and it was still a booger. Well, actually, I masked both the images and the sentiment, because the two words "best wishes" are on one stamp, not two. But for all my moaning, I really did enjoy the challenge and I love how the card turned out, if that's okay to say. Someone very special will get this labor-of-love card:

Love the colours! I found this one really hard, too - mine will be posted tomorrow. The fourth one I made, due to smudges, bad masking, bad placement, etc, etc. The simplest looking cards are definitely the hardest to make!
This is fabulous, love the two colours. Certainly all the heartache was worth it
I think 5 was the magic number :) Glad you stuck with it too. This turned out great.
Lovely card. Great design work.
Darnell...I struggled with this one too...messed up several cards before I got anything I could post! Love the colors you chose...and it's a lovely card!
It was worth all the stress and bother! Its gorgeous. Your post really made me laugh. Thank you for the welcome, It a pleasure to be following you. xx
