In honor of the third anniversary, Julia came up with the idea that we all participate in an ATC (Artist Trading Card) swap. How fun! What? It was no good pretending I had any idea what the heck that was if I wanted to participate. You can't really fake a swap. Julia, fortunely, gave us plenty of notice so those of us who had never made an ATC could look at Mrs. Google's images and hop around the various WOYWW artists' blogs for ideas and then just, well, make one of our own. I can't wait to send mine out and get one in return! That's another first for me ~ it's my first swap, too!
It's fairly early in California, but the list is already long. Yee-ha! It's not too late to join in the fun, however! Click over and jump in! BTW, you don't have to participate in the ATC swap ~ just link a peek at your work space today!
In the meantime, my desk is rather blah.
I've got old cards ready to send out as thank you cards for kindnesses received on my vacay in Iowa recently and you can see a stack of them ready to go. (When I say "old cards," I don't mean like used cards or cards I found in Aunt Grenadine's attic.) Also the "gradulation" card I made yesterday. That's about it, folks. Move along. Let the police handle it.
I've a full day today with doctor appointments and friends coming over for a pre-lunch visit and then we are off to our quarterly Ladies Who Lunch meeting. Only lady-like cocktails will be consumed. I want to wax inelegantly about the word cocktails, but I must dash. You'll have to conjure up your own paragraph in my stead. Ta-Ta!
Oh, first, I see I have another follower to welcome! Hi Jackie! You definitely want to click over to her amazing Rockwell Designs blog!
Please enjoy ~ and, as always, thank you for stopping by to visit. Special thanks to you if you take the time to join as a follower or leave a comment!
