I {Heart} Stamping and New Digs

Greetings!

I have a quirky and quicky post for you today to share a coupla cards. I think you'll be able to relate to this first one!
My cards today combine very old stamps with NBUS. I have had that wee little rubber stamp stamp for 15 years. It is an unmarked stamp, but the shape of the wood makes me think it might be from Close To My Heart. The embossed stitched rectangle is a NBUS Die-Namics "LJD Peek-a-Boo Window" die. The paper, alphabet sticker, and heart stamp are all from my stash. The "ing" is from a vo Hero Arts alphabet stamp set.

Challenges
~~~
My twofer is an OLC which was made for one of my sisters who recently moved into new digs of her own. I liked it so much that I made two more to send to friends who have also moved recently.
The NBUS stamps from this "Vogue Abode" stamp set by Paper Smooches date back to 2012. The "congratulations" is from "Whatnot Sentiments Four" by Your Next Stamp. I used a simple pop of coral color befitting the mid-century style (and to match a chair my sister has) and added lots and lots of score lines for interest. And just because they are fun and easy to do with my Scor-Buddy. I am linking this to the CASology challenge, "Score."
Thank you for your inquiries about our safety with the rains that are drenching and flooding much of California. We are fortunate to be fine, but there are many who could use your positive thoughts and prayers.
Great cards Darnell especially the digs one...very 1950s which is so on trend at the moment. My son recently bought a desk which could have come straight from 1955 when my own parents married and bought their first furniture. I'm glad to hear that you are staying safe xxx
Two fabulous cards, Darnell! That little rubber stamp image is a cutie, and I'm sure it was excited to see some ink. I love the vibrant, happy colors of the card. Congrats to your sister on the move. The score lines go great with the style of those PS stamps. That's one stylin' card!
Such clever designs Darnell! I love the montage of elements in the first making a very clever whole and the score lines drawing attention to the sentiment (how you do that from the back, I do not know. I either go too far or nowhere near far enough). LOVE them both! So glad to hear you are OK where you are! Have a wonderful day my friend! Luv n’ Hugs. Hazel xx
What clever and fun cards today. I love the first one with that stamp on it. That chair and telephone on the second card brings back memories of my aunt's house. I am so happy you are safe and dry but I do send prayers for your state. It has really been thru a lot and it's still raining in some parts. I hope it ends today.
These are awesome, Darnell! I love the effect of the scored lines on the new digs card (congrats to your sis and I hope the move went well). Loving the pops of colour and shapes on the alphabet card! Such a clever and pun-y sentiment too. Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)
I love LOVE your NBUS and how you combined everything to make it look brand new! Both cards are so clever, really. Can't remember the last time a friend of mine moved, but the stamps and senti in your second card are perfect. Love how you colored in only parts, such as the bookshelf, but not the items on it. The scoring looks fantastic, too! Glad to hear you're not suffering the effects of the rain. I'd hate anything to happen to that pretty place of yours.
Also, love all those score lines on you twofer...as you prolly know, I have a thing for white on white embossing and this one sings to my soul. Perfect card for someone who's recently relocated.
