A site for my handmade cards, accompanied by my photos and written meanderings which are occasionally witty, often tongue-in-cheek, and rarely profound. Beginning in June 2013, you'll also see lots of NBUS, which is an acronym I coined for Never-Before-Used-Schtuff. Feel free to join in, use the acronym, and use up your NBUS too! Thanks for coming by! Have a beverage and enjoy!

OLW73 "Peace"

My One Layer Wednesday idea of a "peaceful" card.  I'm most at peace in my garden which I hope is clear in this card!  The rules for this challenge can be found here on "Simplicity."

The tiny flowers (HAD to add them!) and paper are from K & Co.  The stamp is from Rubber Stampede.  You can't see it in the picture but the hat is outlined with a Stardust clear pen, like it's reflecting the sun!

Enjoy!

Darnell- very nice and peaceful card. You asked a question about the tree stamp on my blog today, but you didn't leave your email address. It's not on your profile here either- well, anyway the tree is from "A Walk in the Woods" set from Mark's Finest Papers.
Thanks for commenting on my blog! ...Karen
