Hey, there!
How are you? I hope you're doing well! Any plumbing problems? You know I just had my personal plumbing problems fixed, but guess what happened yesterday? The main line to our home became plugged due to tree roots! Ka-ching! Ka-ching!
What to do?
Why, go to the Playhouse and talk to you, of course!
When I was resting and visiting friends around Blogland, I noticed a coupla five challenges that I wanted to participate in. Thanks to Serena Dipity, I happen to have a card to share that I made before Christmas, but never posted.

To make this QACAS card, I cut the Poppystamps "Merry Ornament" from a snippet of Brusho background I made and then attached it to a fine linen panel. That was matted with a snippet of Christmas green textured paper that I've had since the end of the last century.
Lastly, I covered the bauble with Modgepodge Dimensionals. Here's a closeup. Shade your orbs!

I'm very sad to share that the baby hummer did not make it. I've already seen the mama collecting spider webs, but I'm trying hard NOT to see where the new nest is.💧
But on a cheerier note, I want to share with you these get-well cards that 12-year-old Adam and Henry made for me:

Enjoy your day and the weekend! No, seriously, enjoy! LITS!*

A stunning card. Just perfect xxx
Beautiful card!! I love the clean and simple look :)
Gorgeous card, and best wishes for your recovery
A gorgeous card - what a fab use for the brusho background. I'm amassing quite a collection of test pieces that are too small for backgrounds but too pretty to throw away - die cutting is the way forward!
Very sad about the baby hummer, but then, nature being red in tooth and claw and all that, some other lucky critter has survived because that little one didn't. They're all part of the greater picture, predators and predatees.
And no, I hadn't thought of the bubble wrap background looking like a beehive, but I can see it now....
Jane
I'm glad to see you back and rocking your stuff Darnell. What a gorgeous card with such a shine to the ornament. So sorry re the baby humer but that is nature. I laughed at the body parts in you grandsons cards...brilliant! Enjoy the rest of the week it's turning cold again here. Thanks for your kind visits to me. Hugs xxx
What a stunning card Darnell - so good to see you able to create again!! And to hear that you are being good (???) and taking life quietly and looking through your galleries of the fabulous NBUS challenges. Thank you for them - you really made me use some stash :-).
I do hope Hammy was not too lonely out in the Playhouse on his own, and that he did not create a mess - creative or not!
Love the grandson's cards to you - well taught Bama!!
Blessings
Maxine
CAS cards are so difficult to make ans I admire this one. It's gorgeous!
Lia xx
WOW! This bauble diecut on your brushos paint looks just amazing with the dimensional mod podge!!! Really striking! You did a fab CAS card withit!
Your gradsons are the sweetest! Such fabulous tought for you! :)
Beautiful CAS card. Love the colours.
Valerija xx
Wow..beautiful card..love the brushos effect...and cards from Adam &Henry's are so fun...hugs xx Deepti
What a gorgeously CAS card with this delightful die cut background snippet.
Sorry to hear about the baby hummingbird. Better luck next time!
Hugs, Sarn xxx
Oh my... I'm so sorry to hear about the baby hummer ... That is really sad... Then your problems with the tree roots ... Yikes! Still the good news is that you are ok and on the mend and you are still creating. Love your CAS but so effective Christmas card and those cards from the boys are so cute! Sending big hugs your way...
I love the Brushos bauble! Artsy and CAS! So sorry to here about the Hummer baby :( the get well cards are so special! Hugs
Glad your recovery is progressing and sorry you have water troubles in the house! We have water troubles of our own but not of the plumbed variety. As I type I can hear the rumble of heavy wagons as they come down the lane to the Railtrack compound, adding further ruts to our poor lane as the water cascades down from the broken field drain they smashed last week. It is an ongoing saga, the UPS man was held up 25mins this morning for some reason, he was not pleased!
Love the bright Christmas bauble, the Brusho panel works so well. Sorry I couldn't join in at the challenge as the only NEBUS I had to use was restricted until after the event closed! Keep smiling. xx
So glad you are on the mend...The get well cards made me chuckle...bloody limbs and all! Such an elegant and classy card. CAS perfection, beautiful colours with a simple and elegant layout...Love it! x Take it easy x
Meant to say.....so sorry to hear about the baby hummer, so very sad and your problems with the tree roots...xx
Glad to hear your up and about after your recent plumbing. We have the decorator in this week doing phase 2 of the Bathroom refurb so I'm holed up in the craft room holding my nose from the paint fumes that are leaking in under the door. Not good to hear about the treet roots. We got a letter this morning from the waterboard requesting that due to the constant call outs they have been receiving and having to come out and unblock the said drains would we please refrain from flushing wet wipes, cotton buds, dental floss, fat and oil and wait for it Tights down the loo TIGHTS!! Good grief are they serious. I know the letter has gone out to everyone in the area but it was a bit of an insult as it is The Doc who has to call em out on a regular basis. No one between us and the drain out on the main road seems to notice their plumbing back filling (or probably see Big Bertha ((the sludge gulper)) parked up on such a regular basis that they think it is routine maintenance and don't need to inform the council.!!) The Doc on the other hand is on first name terms with em! Rant over Hugs Mrs A.
P.s I loves yer bauble. you can put the poilish and gene lamp away now.
Beautiful marbling!! Love how you can create art from brushos!! Glad you are up and about and sorry to hear about the plumbing issues - hopefully, it's rectified soon. So sorry to hear about the baby hummer :(
Gorgeous card ..... beautifully CAS, and I love the bauble.
Glad to hear you're on the mend. Shame about the little hummer though xx
Love the card and the shine on the bauble! So pretty. Mostly I was happy to see you posting! So happy you are feeling well enough! Oh gosh, tree roots are not fun when they mess with the plumbing. I kind of remember that from when I was growing up and the HUGE pine tree roots in our front yard messed up some pipes. So sorry to hear about the hummer. :( But enjoyed the interesting cards from your grandsons! Hey they took the time to make them...huge blessing! Hope the rest of your recovery goes smoothly! Hugs!
Beautiful card!!
Hi Darnell...love this card...very classy. Shame about the baby hummer, and your house plumbing too!...hoe that is fixed quickly and that all plumbing in your house is 'tickety boo'. Take care. Hugs xx
What a sweet Christmas card! I love the bit of shine on the ornament.
Glad to see you creating again. Beautiful card!! Love the cards made by your grand kids! Hope your house plumbing is fixed as soon as possible. Thank you for your lovely comments on my post :)
Oh and the pic of the flower that you have shared is beautiful!! I love seeing different flowers of this family Fabaceae!!
So sorry to hear about the baby hummingbird :( What a shame :( Glad you're ok though and hopefully fully recovered! I do love the get well cards (despite the severed limbs, lol). Your card is fantastic, such a bright and vibrant colour palette and *very* stylish! Love it! Thanks so much for playing along with us at Less is More :)
Love your card, but I gotta say...........that bloody limb card is really cool. Actually I didn't have my glasses on and couldn't tell what they were until you told us. I thought they were needles. Confined to bed is no fun either The card was fun though. Love the sun. Sorry about the outside plumbing. I can see the $$$$ floating out of the ground. Glad the inside plumbing is working better.
Your card is a stunner! Love the cards from the twins...severed limbs? What have they been watching on tv? Sad news bout the little hummer and your house plumbing. When I lived in Denver that was a yearly happening :( Hope you are mending well and speedily. Gentle hugs from and furry tickley ones from the Girls. Oops don't laugh :)
I adore your bright and pretty bauble Darnell and love the shine. So glad you are recovering well from your op and had a snigger at the great cards from Adam and Henry, they have a wonderful sense of humour. Sad the baby hummer didn't make it but maybe the next one will as the law of averages says one has got to survive. Relax and take care. x
Oh no, I'm sorry to hear about the new plumbing issue. It probably goes back to the root of the problem. Sorry, it's still early and I'm trying to lighten your mood. That is a shame though. This card is lovely in its simplicity. The Brusho background is beautiful and the matching green cardstock really makes it pop. I think you may have mislead your grandsons about the type of surgery you had that made him create severed limbs. Seriously, I think that's wonderful that they made you cards themselves. I'm happy to see you commenting but still taking it easy. Hope your new meds are doing the trick and things are going well.
OMG... have I lost time ????
X-mas card in early Feb ????
Oh Thanks it´s an older one (but never seen) *lol
it looks amazing in iz´s clean way
CU hellerlittle
Oooo lovely!!!!
A super gorgeous CAS card Darnell. I'm pleased to hear you're out and about again and how lovely that the boys made get well cards for you. I nearly split my sides laughing at your bloody limbs comment. That's sad news about the baby hummer and sorry that you've now got plumbing problems at home too. You take care. Barbxx
Haha, I love seeing your grandson's cards that they made for you! They are the cutest! Bloody limbs and all - that is just too funny! Glad you are starting to heal and feel better and so sorry about your house plumbing. I had this problem many years ago at my old house and it was definitely cha-ching, cha-ching because a backhoe had to come dig up the yard, along with part of my stone wall and driveway. So I needed to replace the stone wall and have the driveway repaved! Cha-ching! I hope yours will not be that bad! Your card is very cute and I love the dimension you added to the bauble! Hanging my head to say that I have this die and it is NBUS!
Pretty card! So shiny!!! Your get well cards are just perfect and I know they had fun making them.
Yikes on the plumbing.......for both you and the house! Ka-ching is right on the house problems. Not fun at all!
Lynn
Your Christmas stash will be filled before you know it, if you're not careful! This is a fabulous CAS card. I do love the merriness that these brusho die cuts give to your card, and the dimension that modgepodge has added. So cool. So sad about the little hummer, too. Hopefully, Mrs. H. will hide her nest from those other darn birds, and a new baby will appear soon. Great cards from A&H. Had a real laugh seeing those 'bloody limbs....' And that's you, i take it confined to bed. How sweet of those kids! You're a pretty awesome Bama!!!! And a pretty awesome friend, too. Hated to hear about the tree roots...dang! Let me check to see if I won the lottery, and if I did, don't even worry about the cost.... Love you, miss you.xoxoxo Bev
Hi Darnell, Lovely card. The bauble is fab.
Shame the little hummer didn't make it, but hope they lay more eggs and they do ok.
Hope you have a lovely day. Sue
Gorgeous sparkle Darnell! What sweet get well cards you received~glad you pointed out the bloody limbs :). Love it~
CAS perfection, such a great design! And what cute cards for you from the boys!
A truly beautiful card Darnell, the bauble really 'pops' in those beautiful colours and wonderful dimension.
Oh no... I am so sad about the little hummer....maybe next year...
Henry and Adam's cards are wonderful (even with the bloody limbs - lol), the designs are great, well done to them!!
Hope you are still making good progress. Hugs, Annie xxx
A gorgeous card!
Oooo what a stunning CAS card, Luv Sam x
Fab CAS card - love the shine and the great colour combination. The linen cs adds some nice texture.
This is an adorable baublet, Darnell! I love all the shine and the textured paper for your white space! Sorry to hear about more plumbing problems. Most inconvenient and expensive! Adam & Henry are so sweet and artistic! Grandsons make everything feel better!
A bitter sweet post...so sad for the baby hummer...but the twink's cards made me smile! The amputated limbs are so typically 'BOY'!!!
Your card is STUNNING!!! The gloss and the texture is divine! Love the deep green of the 100 year old Christmas paper!
What a gorgeous card -wow on that dimension. I'm glad you are feeling a bit on the perkier side. Those cards your grandkids made are brilliant. I'm also very sad to hear about the baby hummingbird. One day, one day! xx
A beautiful baublet!
So sorry to hear about the hummingbird and your most recent problems. Hope you are recovering well.
The boys certainly have made some beautiful cards :)
The roots of all evil!!! So sorry, but glad you got the heck out of there! LOve the cards from the boys, and your gorgeous Merry one, too!
=]
Aren't you clever to find enough snippets to make a wonderful card that can cover all of those challenges. You're a special kind of brilliant. Sad news about the expensive back up and the sweet baby hummer (actually got a tear in my eye when I read the news). Fortunately, you have grandson's that cheer you with get better cards. Honestly, that is so sweet. Hope all your plumbing problems are rectified real soon. XOXOX
Love the shiny dimension on your bauble.
I don't know that we want to hear about your personal plumbing problems.... or even your public ones. Let's pretend plumbing doesn't exist, okay?!
So glad your in blogland again and so great to see the cards that the boys made'they look great!
Your card has a real wow-factor with the modgepodge on it; and super that again a piece of paper got used :(! Hugs, Gerrina
Your grandsons' cards are the cutest evah!! Your card has great texture and dimension - a beautiful holiday card. Sorry about the baby bird and your tree roots.
wow, this is perfect CAS!
so sorry about the baby bird.
hugs xx
O, boys! :-) Their cards made me smile. Appropriate to their age. I know you are proud and happy. But Bama still knows better. :-) Your Christmas card ist fabulous. Delicate and perfect CAS. Stay well!
Hugs, Sonja
Yikes! Looks like you started something with the plumbing problems Auntie! Dang tree roots, I understand why Dwayne wouldn't let me put trees just anywhere I wanted. lol Love your bauble card Auntie, your brusho work is just beautiful and made for a very nice bauble and die word! Looks like there is some wink of stella on that bauble under the Modgepodge dimensionals too, which is just so pretty! Sniff, Sniff, I'm so sad that the little baby hummer didn't make it. So sad. I do however love the get well cards the boys made you! Very appropriate for their age. lol I love the "confined to bed" but then again those bloody body parts are right up there too! Great imaginations and what a great job they did. You taught them well Auntie! Hugs, Brenda
LOVE your CAS Christmas card. Your colourful, shiny and globe-like bauble is GORGEOUS! Glad you are doing well ... sorry to hear about the house's problems. Thanks for sharing the boy's get-well cards they made for their Bama ... the bloody limbs made me laugh! :) Lolly xx
Your card is so gorgeous. I love the clean and simple style but with that shimmer it really looks awesome. And, so sorry about the hummer. But I see you were blessed with some wonderful cards to cheer you up. That was so nice of the boys to do that. I hope you are off to a speedy recovery.
WOW! Look at that fabulous sparkle on the sweet little bauble Darnell my friend! You have die cut it from a fabulous piece too! LOVE the wonderful CAS design of it! Sorry to hear that the baby hummer didn't make it :( so sad! Fingers crossed mama hummer will manage to rear one to maturity real soon! Adorable get well cards from your grandchildren! I hope you are recovering well after your surgery and that the nasty side effects of the anaesthetic has now worn off! Have a wonderful evening! Luv n’ Hugs. Hazel xx

Hi, not into C cards but this is charming and I may have this die. How cute the boys made you cards. Happy healing and good luck with the plumbing.
A wonderful CAS design Sis - love that glossy ornament - beautiful in the greens - glad you are feeling well enough to craft - SO sorry about the little hummer - nature can be cruel - fun cards from the grands - very funny pictures! Julia
What a wonderful card Darnell! Love the great color combo and the CAS style. Really a fun Christmas card. Thanks for the visit and the very nice comment you left on my blog. I see all your posts but I don't comment very often. I really need to do that more often. The twins definitely keep me busy. So much for retirement and more time to craft. LOL! Have a wonderful weekend!
Love your beautiful Christmas baublet.
Such sweet cards from Adam & Henry. I know you will treasure them.
Glad you are doing better. Sorry about your house plumping problems.
Love the glossy dangling bauble Darnell, pretty CAS card!! Too bad about the house plumbing, hope it's not too $expensive$. I'm so sorry I didn't get a chance to play along in your challenges this go around. Now that Sweet P is a toddler, my crafty time has been drastically cut. She keeps me hoping'!! But I wouldn't have it any other way. Know that I still love you and think you are the bee's knees!!
Hi Darnell,
it was wonderful to see you back in blogland commenting as you always have such wonderful things to say about our work.
So glad your feeling much better to be able to do this.
Love your wonderful card and the Brusho word, and the gorgeous shinning baublet.
The colours are so very beautiful, and that linen card is so very lovely.
So sorry to hear about the wonderful little Hummer.
Love and big hugsssss from my house to yours.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Sorry about the baby hummer but relieved to hear the personal plumbing recovery is going according to plan .. hope you got the other plumbing issue sorted by now too. FAB make and lovely colours too
Happy Friday
Kathyk
Terrific card Darnell! So glad to see you are back at it in the playhouse, I trust you are healing well. Sad about the hummer. Love the cards from the Grandsons - they are the best kind!
What a stylish CAS card Darnell and it is so nice to see you are getting around a bit now.The cardmaking talent has obviously been passed down judging by the fun cards the little darlings sent you! You haven't been stuffing severed limbs down the drain and causing a blockage now have you?
So sad to hear about the poor Hummer:-(
Take care
Hugs

Lovely card. I love that linen cardstock!! And I LOVE being able to go back each day and see different entries and checking out new blogs every day. Having it all on Pinterest is brilliant!! Thank you for doing that.

Stunning CAS card Darnell love that bauble! So pleased to hear your plumbing problems have been resolved but upset about the baby hummingbird! Nature can be so cruel.
Val x
Wonderful card Darnell and I love the shiny baublet. Glad to hear you're on the mend but sorry to hear about the baby hummer. As for the other plumbing problems... the tree in our garden was eventually cut down for the same reason. Oh and I do love your get well cards the boys made you. Have a great weekend xx
Stunning cards, Darnell. So sorry about the little one.
Hugs,
Em xoxox
Fabulous card Darnell - LIM at its very best!
Love the boys' cards to you, so funny. And sighed over the baby hummer :(
Hugs
Di xx
Love that shiny little ornament, Darnell. It kind of has me fixated & in a daze! Hope you are feeling better each day.
Great card, love the shiny ornament x Amanda

Super lush, sparkling and oozing CAS to the max here Darnell. Love your choice of colour combo and thanks for playing along in our 6th Birthday challenge at Less is More this week. Sarah
Love all the shine and dimension you created for your little ornament, perfect for a CAS design! Fun cards from the boys too--love seeing how 12-yr. old boys view the world! So happy you are feeling better, and as soon as the house problem is fixed, all can be back to normal! I feel bad about mama hummer but nature is resilient so hopefully she will be around with two little ones soon!
I meant to say I like your new picture on your About me.
Darnell, what a lovely CAS card. So pretty. Sorry to hear about your house plumbing problems. Darn.... Thanks for joining us this week at Merry Monday.
A fantastic CAS card Darnell, they scare the life out of me...all that white space, but I should follow your example and have a go!! Love the cards from your guys, they have certainly inherited your artistic flair xx
Ooh, I love the jewel colours in your shiny baublet, Darnell! And the get well cards made me laugh out loud - typical boys!
I'd love to have that gorgeous ornament hanging on my tree! Beautiful work with the Brushos, and a fantastic shine in the photo. I'm so sorry about the baby hummer. Good idea to not discover the new nest. I've been through that with sparrows here and it hurts my heart intensely. And now with the house plumbing problems? Those tree roots, yup, had that, too, sheesh. Those get well cards are so cute! Gave me a chuckle about the bloody limbs.
I've been thinking that I could do with the world to stop spinning for a while and give me a chance to catch up with everything. I initially thought that three days would suffice, but in reality I think I need at least a week!... maybe even a month!
Sounds like you're doing a great job of staying on track... even with a recovery period to work through.
Love the sparkle and shine on your card.
Take care. X
Awesome card! Love your CAS look (something I wish I was better at sometimes but I do love my bling:) and the brusho piece is so pretty too! Glad you're getting better each day!!! Hugs!!
Ooooh, a brusho background was the perfect choice for your die cut. I LOVE this, Darnell. The gloss and the linen backdrop is a lovely combo.
Thanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x
Yay for a stack of premade panels! Your snippet-turned-die-cut looks just wonderful! Also love to see how talented the boys are. The bloody limbs dragged DH out from the living room, since he wanted to find out why I was laughing out loud. It seems that at least one of them has also inherited your language skills: "comfined' to the bed. Nice one!
Good luck with the plumbing and NOT trying to find where the new nest is.
You really did have your work cut out for you, didn't you, with some 600 entries for the combined challenges? I guess we all love you and your NBUS challenges. Mwah!
Marianne x
Lovely card, Darnell. Beautifully CAS and great shiny ornament. Thanks for playing along at HLS WC Challenge. :) Those cards from your grandsons are great! Boys! ;)
You make the most gorgeous CAS cards, and I'm always wowed and impressed by each new creation! I LOVE this multi-colored merry ornament combo! Fabulous! So glad you're recovering nicely from surgery and I'm dying over the sweet, thoughtful and wonderful thank-you cards!! I didn't know you were having your arm and leg replaced during surgery, but let's hope the doctors gave you good ones!!! (snort)
Oh this is an utterly fantabulous card Darnell! I wish I could do CAS like you. Mine never turn out this lovely when I try, so I tent to stick to adding lots of schtuff, lol. x
Absolutely perfect CAS card Darnell! Thank you for sharing this at Merry Monday! It isn't fun to have your own personal plumbing needing fixing, but totally another story when it is the house plumbing!! Hope by now it is all fixed up and you are good to "go"...*wink!
Lovely CAS card, Darnell. Those Brusho tidbits do come in handy, don't they. I got such a kick out of the boys cards, especially the 'confined to bed' sentiment. It was so sweet of them to make them and I'm sure you'll treasure them forever.
Darnell, What a pretty card... and I love those get-well cards. It's good to read that you're doing well, but very sorry to hear about the baby hummer.
Such a brilliant CAS card !! Giving the bauble a touch of mod podge dimensions seems to be a lovely idea.
Really sweet of the boys to come up with 'get-well' cards for their Bama. Wishing you a speedy recovery, Darnell. :)
This CAS Christmas card is fabulous, Darnell. Sorry to hear about your plumbing on the fritz, sad news about the baby Hummer too. On your cheerful note, the twins did a great job on the Get Well cards :-)
Hope you are healing quickly with your new plumbing. {{HUGS}}
Oh no--so not fair!--plumbing problems & the loss of baby hummer--I'm so sorry! But oh how wonderful to get those cards from the twins--truly treasures! Love your CAS Christmas card, Darnell--the Brusho made a stunning ornament!
hi darnell, fabulous card and sorry about the problems
thanks for celebrating our 6th birthday with us at Less Is More this week
Jen xxxx
CAS is definitely my chosen style, so I really love this card. I haven't used Modpodge Dimensionals but it is clearly (apologies no pun intended!) something I need to add to my stash. Anne x
That shiny, sparkly ornate is gorgeous especially surrounded by all that gorgeous white space! Yum!
The cards from the boys are brilliant! Totally cracking up at the bloody limbs! :D
And I hear you about the ka-ching ka-ching. The last few weeks have seen two trips to the vet for Tex plus 4 new tires and wheel alignment for my car. Ouch!!
Your card is absolutely gorgeous! I love your shiny, Brusho bauble - fantastic! Fabulous cards from the twins, the bloody limbs made me smile! Hope your tree root problem is now sorted and it's a shame the baby hummer didn't make it. Keep taking care of yourself! Thank you for you comments on my NBUS cards! xxx
Hello Darnell, sorry to hear about the plumbing issues. Cute cards. Your profile pic on FB is fabulous
I love this card -the colors are vibrant and the glossy dimension is simply gorgeous!
I love your blinged up Merry ornament, Darnell! Very eye-catching. Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving a lovely comment. Thanks also for all your hard work in organising the fun NBUS challenge. Hope you're having a great weekend. x
Your card is wonderful. I love the inky paper you created for the diecut. It is superb...and the die you used suits it so well.
I bet the sheen from the coating looks great IRL!
The cards from the boys are cute. I will have one winging it's way to you tomorrow...got a bit behind as my Mum passed away early this week an there has not seemed to be an extra minute since. So many arrangements to make as we have had terrible weather with the mountain passes closed and about 18 inches of frozen snow where I live. Relatives and friends have to travel thru that to get here so we are trying to arrange family to take them in while they are in town.
Hugs to you and hope you get stronger every day!
Ahhh wowsers Darnell, what a treat of a card, I love it totally. That's one sparklingly stunning bauble making a cracking QACAS!!
Thanks for sharing your inspiration! ... and those of the younger generation, trust you're healing well.

Love the card, the effect on the bauble is lovely.
What a great couple of get well cards, you must be pleased.
I hope you are feeling a lot better now
Lilian
Darling baublet, Darnell! Cute cards from the kiddos too - glad you're healing!! And sorry about the plumbing probs - no fun, I know!!
LOVE that sparkling baublet. The modge podge really adds something. Tree roots are the bain of plumbing especially depending on the age of your home and the wacky stuff they used to use for the conduit. My Dad had to replace his asphalt wrapped cardboard with pvc a few years ago. Crazy Cali building codes 50+ yrs ago.
Oh that is a lovely card!! LOVE the marbling on the paper. As for plumbing-that happened to us when I was pregnant for Charlotte. Try having to throw up and not being able to use the toilet-Yikes!! I hope you get it all fixed without it losing too much money!!
Congrats on being the Merry Monday winner Darnell...well deserved!! And thank you, thank you for my FABULOUS birthday card! I feel so special having received one of your oh so cool bubble wrap cards!! That was a fun technique!! Hope all the plumbing is fixed and that you're feeling much better too! Have a wonderful week my friend!! :0)
Well, your second plumbing issue doesn't sound pleasant at all, but at least it didn't impact *your* body parts (hope your healing is happening swiftly). On the plus side, glad that said situation nudged you into the Playhouse and the ensuing discovery of your gorgeous ornament card. CAS-loving heart completely captivated! Poor baby hummingbird...The twins' cards are fantastic, bloody limbs and all! Yep, that crafting time is paying off supremely well...they're artistic AND thoughtful!
Hugs~c
PS. Waiting for my husband to return from his business trip to Austria tomorrow; we have *places* to go *grin* Nervous AND excited...breathe...breathe...breathe...
Knew it! Knew it! Knew it!...Winner, winner, winner, chicken dinner. You're the Brusho Merry Monday Queen.
Congrats on the win at MM!
CONGRATS on your well-deserved win at Merry Monday, Darnell! Your Brusho's really made this bauble pop...WOW! I love your CAS design, and that you chose fine linen for your card base...so elegant!
I'm so sorry to hear that baby hummer didn't make it...You and the Mr. couldn't have done a better job looking out for him, that's for sure!
On the lighter side, I really love the fab cards you received from the boys...the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, Bama ~ So sweet!
Oh, how sad that the little hummer didn't make it, Darnell, but that's nature, hey!!! Hopefully there will be another one very soon!!!
Love your very lovely CAS card with the beautiful shiny little bauble!!!! And I see in the comments that you had a win with it - CONGRATS - well deserved!!!!
So enjoyed the cards the twins made for you - they had a great teacher!!!!! Had to smile!!!!!
Hope that the plumbing issues have been sorted by now!!!
Have a great day!!!!

love the brusho ornament and the textured background - thanks for sharing your project at Addicted to Stamps and More
There is a reason we keep all our snippets! And this is so we can make beautiful bauble ornaments out of them. What a gorgeous CAS card it is Darnell. I don't know much about Modgepodge but it looks interesting and worth investigating.... such a super pretty card. I had to laugh at the two get well soon cards, so funny what children draw (and say). I bet they put a big smile on your face! Hugs, Lisa xx
Darnell, Congrats on your well-deserved win over at Merry Mondays! This card is CAS perfection. :)
Hi Darnell
Wish I could do CAS with your style. This is fab and that's one shiney bauble you have there.
Sorry to hear of the further plumbing issues (at least this one will just be painful on the pocket) and of the demise of the baby hummer. Nature can be cruel sometimes.
Great cards from the twins. Bloody limbs are probably better than a sketch of what you really had done lol! ...... it's a family blog lol!

Chuckle - Baublet!! Sorry to hear about your plumbing problems - I hear that - we got flooded this year and had to put in a lot of drainage stuff, and that's after a leak last year in a different part. Kaching indeed!! Love the card, so cute, fabulous shine and sparkle!! Thank you for joining us at the HLS Watercolor Challenge. Jenny x
