More Sharing Time

Good Day, Stamplings!

While I have candied nuts roasting (making the house smell amazing), I wanted to share a few more Christmas makes and support many of the challenges and the designers who work very hard for us. I'll put a lid on the chatter box and just get goin'.

Onefer.
I tried to channel my inner Kay Miller! Here is a closeup of the winking. Can you tell I used a new Stella?!

Challenges (badges below)
Twofer.
I really overworked the Zigsters with this one. Peace on earth looks like there might be some storm clouds brewing! (Obviously, my inner Kay went on lunch break.)

You know how you keep going and going some times like you're having an out-of-body experience? You can see yourself watching your hand continue of its own volition and you're thinking, "Why is my hand acting on it's own without any communication from my brain which is yelling, "STOP!"?

I'm sharing it anyway because I feel like I saved it a bit with the framing and bow. It's prettierer in real life when you see the shiny leaves and Nuvo berries on the holly.

Challenges (badges below)
Threefer.
This super-QACAS number is a repeat of a design I made last year, but never posted. A minimal effort at stamping and embossing and a maximum effort at using up some ribbon.

Challenges (badges below)
  • Curtain Call: Inspiration graphic. Please note: This is the last challenge for the Curtain Call. I hope you will be able to join in to show your appreciation for all that the current and past teams have done to inspire you! Thank you, CC!
  • Stinkin' Inkers: Celebrating the holidays.
Fourfer.
Here is another card with more of my Brusho background. The NBUS Reindeer Window is from Memory Box. I hope you can see the beautiful texture on the card base. I've been hoarding these ancient yummy pieces of colored and textured card stock forever. I decided that makes no sense, so I'm setting them free.

Enjoy your day!  No, seriously, enjoy!  LITS!*

As always, thank you for coming by to visit the Playhouse and special thanks to you if you take the time to join as a follower!  Please let me know you came by so I can be sure to return the flavor!

  9. These are all amazing but my fav is the last one and that is the one for Time Out-yah! That brusho background works so well with the green card and then the whole card is muted down with the kraft reindeer-a delight of a card and thanks for joining us at Time Out (and thanks for my card-arrived just now x)

  14. OMG you are becoming so prolific. How many cards do you send? I like the Penny Black adhesive paper designs. Way back when I used them and probably still have some stashed some where and they are fun to use with stickles. Keep up the good work. Hugs, BBB

  18. I need to do some spiced nuts--thanks for the reminder! Beautiful cards, Darnell--love the holly with the Nuvo berries & oh my goodness--that reindeer card is stunning! I still love textured colored cardstock & think I'll start using it for frames as much as I can. Sending holiday hugs, Greta

  19. Spiced nuts? Never thought of making those myself but sounds intriguing. LOVE your cards. The first one is fantastic with your use of color. I like the storm clouds on the second. The colors make the holly POP and the yellow at the bottom really emphasized the sentiment. I like your minimal design of the third using that ribbon. I have so much of that too and have been trying to use it up. GREAT cards!!!

  22. Thank you for my gorgeous card . The Hupster is gonna think Iv'e gone nuts when you receive mine. You'll know which one it is before even opening it. Love this arrangement of cards. Still got this flu bug. I tried giving it to The Doc (spreading a bit of cheer like one dies) but after 4 days he gave it back to me.!! He is off my Christmas list next year.
Hello bells just realised I haven't made him one this year yet .
Off to have a rummage in the used cc box. Perhaps I can just have a rootle around and find the one I sent him last year.
Hugs a flued up Mrs A.

I didn't see the problem with ANY of your pretty cards here though. Really like the watercolor backgrounds with the holly, and of course the fabulous brusho. The antler peeking out looks so neat. And the QACAS is wonderfully bright....how DO you have time for all this designing, roasting nuts and all the other things you juggle? You are amazing. Thank you for the gorgeous candy canes card, and Merry Christmas too. TFS & Big, Big Hugs
