Happy Easter!

Hello!

I wish you all a Happy and Blessed Easter Sunday! We've got the kidlets and their twinsters and some dear friends coming for a traditional meal of ham and lamb and lots of other yumminess for which we're very grateful. Would you like my family-favorite recipe for shrimp dip?!

I only managed to make a couple three cards for Easter this year, so this is my Easter card for YOU!
The tulips are from my NBUS "Magnolias for Her" stamp set from Altenew. The leaves wooden stamp is very old and unmarked in my stash. The sediment is from the Waltzingmouse "Compact Sentiments" set. The corner pp is from my stash. The bucket is a NBUS stamp from "Create a Garden set 2" from Rubbernecker onto which I hand-drew a handle.

It's easy to see how I was inspired by the following photo:
This is from the recent challenge at Inspired by All the Little Things. I was really so pleased with my take on the photo, if I do say so myself. Then I was so bummed to find out that the challenge doors had already closed and I was too late to enter. Owell, it was a fun card to make!

~~~
I hope to see you all back here on Friday, April Fool's Day when I'll be hosting a fun FLOP HOP featuring BIG FAT CARD BOO BOOS that embarrassed you! I'll have a linky tool and a BIG FAT PRIZE and I hope you can join in the fun! For more detailed information, please go HERE
~~~

Enjoy your day! No, seriously, enjoy! LITS!*

As always, thank you for coming by to visit the Playhouse and special thanks to you if you take the time to join as a follower! Please let me know you came by, so I can be sure and return the flavor!

Happy Easter to you and your family, Darnell! Sounds like a fabulous celebration planned for today! We're here at my mom-in-law's; I'm going to attend an Easter service later this morning and this evening, we'll have a 'three of us' ham dinner. My mom is hostessing a family gathering (first time since my dad passed she's done so in her house), and while I'll miss the fun-and-frolic of the kiddos, I'm *still* not ready to face the 'empty' space at the dining room table. I'm feeling kind of a 'tug' in wanting to be two places at once but...mom-in-law is thrilled we're here and that's what matters right. this. minute! Your tulips are gorgeous, in their pretty petals of pink and coral! Here in Kelowna, we're seeing green grass and the first blooms of spring...so pretty! Have a marvelous day, my friend!
Hugs and love~c

Gorgeous Easter card! We pretty much ignored the fact that it was Easter but finally I told Joe we should partake in some tradition. So we had ham sandwiches. LOL

I looked all over for a photo of my boo boo card but I don't have it. But I can tell the story about it. I'll see if I can come up with an appropriate card for the story.

What an artist! Your hand-drawn handle added such sparkle detail to this pretty bucket of tulips. Love the design layout of your card too. Ours did not bloom this year and the daffodils were gone before by end January! Have a wonderful Tuesday!

I've never had lamb before Auntie, but your dinner sounds very good! And of course I want your family-favorite recipe of shrimp dip!!! Your card is gorgeous! I love the pattern paper on your card like that, love that bucket too, I would have never realized that you hand drew the handle on it, it's perfect! You are too talented Auntie. I love the flowers in the bucket too, they fit in there perfectly. That is a great inspirational photo to work from and get inspired and you were inspired so well by it. Hugs, Brenda

This is a lovely card. I really like the stamped image. It is such a great take on the photo inspiration.

Your BOO Boo challenge seems like fun. My most likely mistake (made over and over) is adhering the topper or matted image upside down on the card base!
