WOYWW #225 ~ Revamp Complete and Thank You to Tracey!

Happy WOYWW!!

I am back from visiting one of my besties and I have finally finished the revamp of the Playhouse, Gloria, Hal, & Lula!!  Since this is a photo-heavy post, I'm zipping my lips and will let the images speak for themselves.

Except to say . . . ha, just kidding.
Before
During
After
I think I'm going to like having my paper more neatly corralled in the IKEA drawer units.

A couple more, coz you know one thing leads to a dozen others:
During ...
After
As you can see in the last photo above, I rearranged my rotating Art Wall to showcase some of my dear friends' beautiful art.  My most recent joyous mail brought me that beautiful hand-painted hydrangea.  Here is a close-up:
Isn't it stunning?  It's from Tracey Fletcher King, an extremely talented artist I met through fellow desker and fellow talented artist, Vonny K.  Thank you for the introduction, Vonny.  It has been such a pleasure to become friends with Tracey and I'm humbled and grateful to receive her art.  Tracey is battling breast cancer with an awe-inspiring sense of humor and positive attitude.

She also sent me a signed print of her happy and bright blog banner.  (Sorry for the flash.)
Tracey doesn't realize it, but her coffee and tea banner is now framed and absolutely perfect in my blue, black, and white kitchen!
Thank you again, Trace!  I know that all my friends will join me in sending prayers and positive healing vibes your way.  There are a lot of them so you'll feel it!  You might want to strap yourself to that art stool if you climb up there!!  Mwah!

~~~
Back at the Playhouse, we see a rare appearance by the famous Mister.  He's giving you the official WOYWW hello!!  Notice we are quite proper and don't stick our tongues out when waggling our ginfers in our ears!
He and Mr. Mojo are going to have a beverage on the deck while I mess up my squeaky clean space!
~~~

Enjoy your hop around What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday (WOYWW)!  If you'd like more information on WOYWW, our gracious hostess Mizz Julia Dunnit, can provide you with all the details.  As always, thank you for stopping by to visit.  Special thanks to you if you take the time to join as a follower or leave a comment!  I will return the flavor!!

Lol how I loved reading your post today :-)! Your studio looks wonderful and what a fantastic place to do art/craft in!! Tracey Fletcher King is a great artist and I have been following her blog. I too wish her all the best in her battle with breast cancer. My sister battled breast cancer nearly 4 years ago and won and I do believe that a lot of that had to do with her positive outlook and the prayers and positive vibes that people sent her. Love where you put her print,and your kitchen looks fab! Thanks for showing and happy WOYWW.

I so loved all the mess and agree the paper does look much better in those draws.. I am glad I resisted buying some of those other ones now as I thought that might be the case.. Unless you have loads of the same type of paper I cant see it would work for me I like my filing system that works for me great.. If it works don't fix it I reckon. Hi to Mister LOL and love the framed picture on your wall in your kitchen its perfect there..

I had to laugh, I almost thought that first "during" photo was going to be your after.... like you'd thrown in the towel. I mean, I could totally understand if that is what you did. Anyway! I love the revamp and am jealous over your IKEA drawers. I have been pondering replacing plastic drawers with more furniture like options. I love what you've done with the place. It is truly an inspiration. I hope you've gone and messed it up already.

Lunch Lady Jan said...

Do you know what, Darnell? I LURVE your new storage...is it wrong to admit that I adore it when everything is in its place...it's so satisfying and appeals to my inner (and outer) OCD ness which is getting worse the older I get! I'd really like to come and have a furtle through yer drawers!!!!
Lovely prezzies from Tracey, that picture couldn't be more perfect for your kitchen....
Hope you are keeping well and happy....I must admit, I'm nadged after clearing the house...a quiet couple of days are in order.
