CFC #104; Merry Monday #66 ~ Peace Joy Love

Hi Dearlings,
I'm back with a quick second post today.  I have a long list of things I should be doing, but just curious, I real quick opened Always Playing With Paper, the extraordinary site hosted by the super-talented Lesley, to see what the "Merry Monday" sketch is this week and shazambam and oh, snap, a card instantly formed in zee weddle gray cells.
But, first, the fantastic sketch for your carding enjoyment:

And walla, my take:

The new product for this card is the sediment.  It is from a Technique Tuesday stamp set.  Some of the images in the set I've used before, but not this one.  This card was EZPZ, QACAS fun!!  And bonus, it's nice and flat for mailing, too.
I'm delighted to finally be playing on a regular basis with these Merry Monday sketches, which are amazing for launching ideas for you to start your Christmas card stash!  I hope you join in!!  For me, this is my third Christmas card done and the third product used from my never-before-used-schtuff (NBUS) lurking in the Playhouse.  Check and check.
~~~
As in my earlier post today, I'm also entering this card in the "Banners and Flags" challenge at CAS-ual Fridays, where the generous sponsor this week is ellenhutson.com.
Enjoy your day!   No, seriously, enjoy.  LITS*!
And thank you so much for stopping by the Playhouse.  Special thanks to you if you take the time to leave a comment or join as a follower!
That middle tree was the one I was using! I was trying to do them all on the same piece of cardstock. Why couldn't I have thought to separate them. Anyway, DH will have a forest scene with geese flying overhead for Father's Day. All is not lost. Love that banner!
Hi Darnell, love your take on the sketch, it has made me want to have a go at it too. The trees are gorgeous and well done on making a head start on your Christmas cards. Loving those sequins too.... Hugs, Annie xx
Look at you with your checklist (which is different than a check list, that would just be a list of checks). Those trees and banners are fab and great job with the sentiment!
Love it when an idea pops right away. Your popping produced a stellar card.
Hi Dolly. Congrats on adding another beautiful card to your Christmas card stash! I haven't started mine yet ... just not ready! I'm going to wait until Aug / Sept so that I can panic and go crazy for the last four months of the year --- why change traditions??!! Lolly xx
Shazakabam (or whatever) is right! Awesome card - love the sequins. The banner sentiment is fabulous - does it come with a die or did you fussy cut it?
Christmas in June? No can do!
Great way to use trees on the banners - ideal shape.
Love the sketch and adore your take on it Dippy. Very elegant and "flat" card! Not sure if you have the same poblems as us but our post office brought in a totally stupid (to us) ruling that normal postage rates only apply to flat envelopes and even if you've got a teeny, tiny pearl on your card the postage raises from about 30p to 95p..........ridiculous! I'm afraid only "special" people get dimensional cards nowadays.......... :o(
Hugs.
So sorry to be late to the Christmas party...could not find a tree. You have three beautiful trees, your stamps have so much wonderful detail to them and your card is so pretty and very festive with the bits of sequins.
