A site for my handmade cards, accompanied by my photos and written meanderings which are occasionally witty, often tongue-in-cheek, and rarely profound. Beginning in June 2013, you'll also see lots of NBUS, which is an acronym I coined for Never-Before-Used-Schtuff. Note: my Privacy Policy can be found at a tab below and you can find my NBUS Challenge online. I hope you'll join in the fun there! Thanks for coming by! Have a beverage and enjoy!

MoJo In Quadruple MoTion

You can tell how much I hate packing and how much I'm going to miss my little sanctuary when I tell you that this afternoon I snuck in some time to make a card which I managed to make fit FOUR challenges!  What?!  I would wait and post it tomorrow, but time is running out over at LIM and I'm not very good at math and the card is made, so why take chances?

Here they are, in alpha order:

ABC Challenges, where the theme is "Anything Goes!"  We love those!  ABC stands for All Beautiful Cards (aw, love that, too) and the site is hosted by the talented Patty Gorka and supported by an amazing Design Team.

Hero Arts March Contest, where you have lots of options and lots of time! The details are on their site.

Less Is More (LIM), where for Week 109, the funtastic Design Team of Ms. Chrissie and Ms. Jen have presented us with a very challenging color scheme:

donut dreams

After fourteen trips to the bakery and a 14-pound increase in my weight, I finally was able to overlook the dough-doughs and concentrate on the colors!

... and ...

Retrosketches #53, where there are coffee stains to go along with the dough-doughs on this schweet sketch by Arielle:

There is an amazing Design Team at Retrosketches, too!

~~~
With Easter fast approaching, here's what I made:
In my head my card is covered with polka dot sprinkles!  Num-num, I hope you like it.
~~~

Oh, look!  Before you go, we have a new friend at the door!  Please help me welcome Karin of Karrootje.  Karin has a lot of talent on her site, free for the looking!  Thank you, Karin ~ we are all happy to have you join the party!

~~~
Enjoy your day! No, seriously, enjoy! LITS*!
Thank you so much for stopping by. Special thanks to you if you take the time to leave a comment or join as a follower!
Wow, I'm impressed! I can barely make a card fit two challenges, let alone four! This card looks good enough to eat! ;)
I hope you have a wonderful trip and I look forward to you getting back into your craft room! :)
Wow! SPOT on dear girl! You know that I felt the same way when we went away on our holiday...I could hardly wait to get back to my craft room!
FOUR challenges, one card - that is like being able to put all your clothes into one suitcase! This card really is a perfect fit for every challenge - cute as a bug's ear, pretty as posey and yummy as candy sprinkles!
It's so dot-a-rific! Way to go on smashing 4 challenges together, Darnell! I think that should be a challenge somewhere. Go find 4 challenges and make a card.
