The Paper Players #115 ~ Tick-Tack-Toe

How's it going?
I took an artsy photo last year at the lake while the twins were driving toy bulldozers around.  I made it into a photo card and pulled it out this week to send it to someone because of the fall leaf, this being fall.  Then yesterday I noticed that my friend Sandy and my other friend Sandy and my friend Allisa had all made cards for The Paper Players, which was a Tick-Tack-Toe-Once-Upon-A-Row challenge so I went over there to check it out.  Here, you'll see what I mean:

And in stepped Serena Dipidity once again.  My card just happened to have "Ribbon" and the colors are "Yellow and Gray" and it's a "Birthday" card:

How cool is that?

~~~
Do I have the best husband in the world or what?
A few days ago I told you how raged out I was to focus and pocus on my filthy dirty baseboards.  Well, the Mister heard me grousling about it and saw me down on my hands and knees collected evidence with a baby wipe (tip: another good use for them!) and so he thought to himself, "I hate to see her doing that nonsense at her age.  How can I help?"
He couldn't come up with an answer, but the seed was planted in his subcuticals.  So the next morning at dawn o'clock, with no lights on, armored up in a thick-shouldered leather motorcycle jacket . . .
(Naughty you.  You thought I was going to try my hand at a little "50 Shades of Mister," dinja?)
. . . he bounced off the hall wall on his way out the door, knocked down a picture, and wiped out a baseboard.  Thus:
I'll bet you wish your husband was as thoughtful as mine!  I'll bet we all hope he drives better on the roads on his motorcycle than he walks down the hallway on his feet!
After that stunner,  I'm sure a lot of us are delighted to know we now have brandi on hand at the Playhouse.  I, for one, really appreciate it right now!  Please join me in welcoming Brandi to the fun and games!  The talented Brandi is located at Yankee Belle Stamper and if you're not already a fan, I know you'll go visit her when you can.  Thank you, Brandi!
Enjoy yourself today.  Try not to cream off any walls!  As always, thank you for stopping by to visit. Special thanks to you if you take the time to join as a follower or leave a comment!
Paper:  Sparkly heather gray and
  gray-gray, unknown source
Stamp:  SU Happy Birthday,
  set unknown
Ink:  Vivid cobblestone
Ribbons:  Richard's dollar bin
PS The graphics adapter decided not to adapt any longer on the computer in the Big House, so I'm posting from the laptop in the Playhouse.  My typing skills aren't so hot on the laptop what with the keys all scrunched together and my wrists laying flatout across the bow, like a couple of plat o' pusses napping in the sun.  In high school typing, Mr. Ryan would smack the top of my hand with a ruler if I allowed my wrists to rest, so it makes me jumpy, you understand, even though Mr. Ryan has passed on these many years, and even though there is no other way to type on this thing.  You may not notice any difference in my typing or spelling or spacing and such (ahem), but I still feel the need to splain the situation.  Thank you for your patients.  The nurse will be by shortly.
Hey Dippy - are you taking my name in vane (vein......!) - I can't remember my nemesis Serena Dipidity stopping by!!! Love your card and how lucky were you that this Tick Tack Toe challenge came around......your card fits it perfectly. Is there any chance you could send Mister over here? I could certainly do with his help - especially of the 50 shades variety! lol I'm sure Brandi will so love her visit to the playhouse she won't want to leaf!! Geddit?
Hugs.
Hi Darnell, your card is simply stunning, I absolutely love it. And now on to Mister - it looks like he drove his motorbike down the base board! I hope he fixed it up for you when he returned.... Crafty hugs, Anne x
Wonderful card Darnell! It's just perfect, such impact and deffo, very 'arty' indeed.
Sorry but I'm laughing away here at the baseboard incident. We call them skirting boards over here - hopefully so that men skirt round them!
I'm still struggling to get used to a new laptop keyboard so I really could relate to your small print :))
Have a great day! Hugs, Di xx
"50 shades of mister"? Bahahahaha! I think the Mr is trying to tell you he'll replace those baseboards and paint them new white. :-) Oh, and after years of piano lessons, I type like a pianist, and using a laptop keyboard is near impossible. I feel your pain! Darnell, you crack me up. One day I hope I can visit with you and chat in person. ;-)
