FMS #55 ~ A Jen M Sketch; cQc #157 ~ Colours; and CFC #73 Where The Girls Are!

Whoosh, and It's the Weekend Again!

And today is "World Card Making Day!"  Who knew we had a lobbyist?!  I'm sure there is a challenge somewhere for that, but if so, I'll have to connect with it later.
We are heading off to supervise the twins this weekend, while DS and DDIL hit the road for a romantic weekend getaway.  We will be tending to, and attending, the their soccer game this afternoon and then bringing them, the Duke, the kit, and the kaboodle all back here for a sleep-over.  Can't wait!
So without further and usual blitherings, here we go.
I took a sketch from the Freshly Made Sketches challenge, which is number 55, designed by the uber talented Jen M:
This week two of my favorite challenges, CASual Fridays, and ColourQ are making it easy for all of us to recognize and pay tribute to the fact that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. This week at CASual Fridays we have challenge number 73, "For the Girls," and it is generously sponsored by Simon Says Stamp.
And at ColourQ, we have challenge number 157, where the timely and lushurious colors are pink, melon, gray, black, and white:

And here you have it:

Each and everyone of us has been impacted by breast cancer.  While there has been an increase in the number of women I know and love who have been diagnosed with breast cancer as my circle of friends has gotten older, I'm happy to say that in the last five years, every one of them has survived!
So, please keep getting your boobies flattened every year, sweet ladies, and keep donating money to research ~ it really does make a difference!!

Enjoy every day!  As always, thank you for stopping by to visit.  Special thanks to you if you take the time to join as a follower or leave a comment!
