CFC56~Sweet Spot; Clean & Simple 194~Sketch; Pixie's Crafty Workshop 24~Snippets! I Say! Three?!

I hope you are all having a glorious Saturday!

I can hardly type if I look over at my card sitting next to me on my desk.  I'm not even going to try and amuse you with a story today because I cannot, this time, outdo how much my card, alone, amuses me and, I hope, you.

It also, as you can imagine, greatly amuses me that I have somehow managed to make it fit THREE challenges!  I may have done this once before, or I may have only dreamt about it.  Perhaps I got concussed yesterday, in a good way!!

So without further adieu, here are the three challenges:

One:

CFC56: Create a Clean And Simple project using polka dots.  Linkie

CFC stands for CAS-ual Fridays.  This week's inspiration parade was filled with designs using stamps provided by this amazing sponsor!

http://denami.blogspot.com/
Two:

Clean & Simple #194 Sketch.  Linkie

This is my first time playing with Clean & Simple!

Three:

And last, but not least, is Pixie's Crafty Snippets Workshop challenge 24.  This is also my first time on the "playground" with Di and her friends.  I found her through Victoria, who is a loyal friend and follower.  If I understand it correctly, it's a challenge to use up those mountainous bits and pieces of paper.  If I'm wrong, someone please correct me and I will leave the playground immediately.  (It won't be the first time!)

Okay, so here is my card using the sketch and polka dots and snippets:

If there is a paper piecing challenge out there somewhere, I could enter in it as well!  I'd have to take to my bed if I managed FOUR challenges!

But, seriously, did you not laugh out loud at this measley baby?!  I love it to pieces!  (A pun, too?!)  I say "it" because I can't decide if it's a boy or a girl baby.

The hair looks so fine and feathery because hahaha I had a feather in my drawer to use Someday on a card and I just snipped off the finest feathers for the baby's hair.

I'm framing this for my desk as an instant pick-me-up.  I should mass-produce it for all my friends.  Oh, my!

I have two new followers to introduce to you this morning.  Please welcome Ivanka of Ivanka's Card Studio and the aforementioned Diana of Pixie's Crafty Workshop.  It's an honor to have you ladies!

Please enjoy ~ and, as always, thank you for stopping by to visit.   Special thanks to you if you take the time to join as a follower or leave a comment!

Paper: SU whisper white; all others DCVW
  polka dot papers and pieces
Stamps:  Mo Manning, "Spit Happens"; sentiment
  from PTI "Glory Be"
Ink:  PTI black
Hair from found feather

You'll have to pick me up off the ground - the spots, the hair, the eyes! I'm killing myself laughing. And yet there is an occasion where this card would be completely appropriate and that's what just gets me!

Hi Darnell,
Well honesty time here - I found it a bit creepy lol.

It's okay, Elaine! I think the close-up on the computer looks a bit creepy, too. But in real life, it's as cute as a button, and so goofy, it's hysterically funny! At least to me!

Even the bunny rabbit has measles too! Oh dear! Absolutely love the feathers as tufts of hair!!

This is so darned funny and cute! We may be showing our age as kids nowadays don't have a clue about getting measles. lol Since you mentioned it, there is a paper piecing challenge over at DYSU that you could enter this in. Come on over and play!

I think it will be perfect to say underneath the card: "Have you got your Measles shots?"
