P.S. Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge 176 "No Image, Just Words"

I was cruising around Blogland, enjoying terrific entries in challenges that I like, when I happened upon another new one for me!  Does anyone have any idea how many challenges are out there?  Is there a stampland W.W.W.M.A.S.T.E.R. who knows these things?  My little head is spinning.  (Duh, what else is new?  Focus.)  The name of the challenge is Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge and this week is number 176, "No Image, Just Words."  "There must be words only on your projects, no images either printed or stamped but you can embellish how you like."  Well, heh-heh, I just happened to still have a perfect word stamp on my desk, ready to go.  Since I had used a shamrock stamp on my post below, which is a no-no for this challenge, I made another card, thus:

BTW, does anyone want to see the deck freshly painted?  I should have taken a before picture, sorry.  Trust me when I say it needed it badly.

Today is overcast because we are actually supposed to get rain for the most part of this coming week.  (I got the painting done in the nick of time!)  I hope they are right about the rain; we need it badly.  And, if your curious about those Dr. Seuss trees, they are called Fruitless Mulberry and you need to whack them clear back every winter or they become monster trees.  When they branch out fully in a couple of months, they get just big enough to provide a complete natural shade canopy over the deck.

Please enjoy!

Good luck on the challenges! I just started doing them and it sure is fun!

Your deck looks gorgeous. I bet the shade under the trees is lovely when they are in full leaf.

We still have damp weather...lots of rain and even some more snow in our forcast, so no yard work getting done here.

Oh well...more time to dreate!

Pretty colours and wonderful words! I love finding a good challenge! Somehow it inspires me to make something I never would have made otherwise - I guess that's the point!

In answer to your question about how many challenges are out there, check out "The Daily Dare" http://dailydare4u.blogspot.com.au/ - it is not an exhaustive list of regular online challenges, but it's definitely a start!! :)
